The company is not registered for VAT.
It is registered as a Community Amateur Sports Club - CASC 05473

3. Privacy policy

We are committed to ensuring that members' privacy is protected at all times - and have updated our procedures to comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK-GDPR) - which became effective 31 January 2020 and replaced the EU-GDPR.

3.1. What personal information we collect
The information we collect comprises: your first name, surname, address, date of birth, telephone number(s), email address and other bowling-related information.

3.2. Where we collect your personal information from
We collect this information from our Membership Application Form.


3.3. How we use your personal information
This information is used to provide details:-
· to you - regarding bowling events & social activities - via telephone, post, email and/or the Club's notice boards
· to the SDCGBA and the Belper & Midlands CGBA - (name and BCGBA Registration number) for processing league bowling results
· to other members - (basic contact details only) via our ‘Green Book’ in the Clubhouse; with password protected full details on the website in the ‘Members only’ section
. to the SDCGBA - (Green Re-opening post COVID-19 - 'Club Schedule of Attendance') to comply with Government regulations and Track & Trace requirements.

You can ask for your personal information to be updated or removed at any time.

Within GDPR, there are 6 legal bases for collecting and processing your personal information - and we adhere to the letter of the law by obtaining 'opt-in consent' and/or acting in the 'Legitimate Interests' of the Club and its members.

3.4. How we use your information to make automated decisions
We do not use any systems for automated decision-making based on processing of personal data.

3.5. How long we retain your personal information
Personal information is retained for a minimum period of 12 months, reviewed annually by the Management Committee and then deleted if no further contact is envisaged.

3.6. Using our website
Data collection - No personal data is collected from any part of this website.
Cookie Policy - This website does not use any cookies - other than Google Analytics, which monitors (e.g.) the number of visits made to our website. We do not use it to track any personal information.
Links to other websites - This website contains links to other websites. Rykneld Bowling Club Limited does not accept responsibility for the terms and policies of these websites because we have no control over the content or the availability of linked pages.
