Winter Green Maintenance - November 2025

Following the annual closure of the green, it was swished, brushed, cut to an Autumn height of 8 mm and ‘hollow tined’. Two types of top dressing (4.5 tons in total) were then blended using a cement mixer and applied to the green. A great many thanks to all who have turned out to help our greenkeeper, David Fowkes, in the last few days - Angela, Craig, Dennis, Jack, Malcolm, Michael, Philippa, Richard, Roger, Ryan and Sean.
-Under the guidance of David, we are going ‘all out’ to further improve our already excellent green, for the start of the 2026 season.
