The first competitive game of the season was held on Sunday 3 April.Fortunately the rain held off - and it was bright and not too cold afternoon.Many thanks to Paul Eason and Dennis Young for organising / running the competition.Many thanks to everyone who competed.Many thanks to Susan West and Sheila Knowles for the excellent refreshments throughout the afternoon.Many thanks to Philippa Eason for running the Bar.It was a splendid turnout - and highly competitive as usual.Thanks to Susan for presenting the prizes - to the Denise Landers and Richard Knowles (Winners) - and Sean Wilkins and Gordon Lawrence (Runners Up)Well done to newcomer Sean in his first competitive match.
